That person went by the name Peggy V. in her subsequent marriage to Harry J. Young. Peggy V. claimed her parents were Clinton and Florence (Church) Temple, and that she was born in 1901 or 1902. If these are not true, then her mother's claim for children in 1910 was incorrect. However, her marriage to a Farr does not explain the presence of two children surnamed Cutter present in the 1930 enumeration as grandchildren of Clinton and Florence Temple. In 1930, only one Margaret Farr fit the criteria for age and location, that being the wife of William H. Farr of Detroit, MI, but her birthplace and her parents' birthplaces were all IA.

In 1918 he was a machinist helper for Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in Clarksburg, Harrison, WV.¹¹⁸³⁵⁷ In January 1920 he was a railroad machinist in Clarksburg, Harrison, WV.⁵¹³²¹ Pearl died in 1928 at the age of 47 in Clarksburg, Harrison, WV.¹¹⁸³⁵⁹ Buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Clarksburg, WV. He and his parents were all from OH in 1900. Claimed his parents were from WV (father) and KY (mother) in 1910. His parents were both from WV in 1920. In his WWI draft registration, he named Miss Nana Bradley of Parkersburg, WV, as his next of kin, despite lack of any obvious relationship. There were two Nannie Bradleys in WV in 1910 - one a servant in Coal, Harrison, WV who was unmarried and another who was the wife of Samuel E. Bradley of Madison Twp., Boone, WV. If the latter, then she was likely his mother. If the former, there may be some link to the John Temple b 1941 who resided there.
Finally, there is a chance he was a son of Orville Grant Temple, but not by his wife Mollie Mulcahy - they were married after Pearl's birth by several years. There was, however, a Pearley Temple who was a boarder in Huntington, Cabell, WV, in 1900 - the only Pearl or soem variation b 1881 in WV, as shown here. But that link to Huntington, WV, may point to Orville and his family. One of the children of Orbille and Molly was a Nancy A. Temple, known as Nan, who may have earlier married a Bradley and thus been the Nannie Bradley who was Pearl's next of kin in the 1918 draft. Problem is, the records for Nannie's marriage to a Bradly haven't been found - but probably fo back to WV.
The identification the B&O machinist Pearl Temple as the one who was married to Parthenia Lake is based on location and timing, but requires proof such as a marriage certificate.
