He was enumerated close by Israel and Cornelia (Hunt) Temple, and may be related to them, possibly their son. That would make him the grandnephew of William and Frances.

So, Richard James' marriage was right int he middle of all the people who are the known brothers of James Temple. However, Richard James' official birth date is one year after the 1860 census, but he appeared in the 1860 census. This last problem prevents his identification as the same person.
