Buried in Phillipi Baptist Church Cemetery, Edgefield, SC. James Hansford, Jr., is confused with James Henry, Jr., in Temple People, Vol. II. I cannot separate them out, so it is possible the data presented here is actually for James Henry.
The information in Temple People, Vol. II has confused the dates for James Henry Temples with those of James Hansford Temples, along with ascribing the same wife to both men. It appears that the least information, which is associated with the family of James Henry, is the wrong information. It is possible that the information presented for James Hansford, Jr., should be for James Henry. Parents: James Hansford TEMPLE(S)-34153 and Martha E. HOWARD-34158.

James Pickens TEMPLES33594,124142 was born on 22 August 1852 in Edgefield Co., SC.64617 He died before 1880 at the age of 28. He did not appear with his family in 1880, and was not found again, so the likelihood is that he was dead. Apparently absent in the 1860 census. His identification as James Temples, husband of Angelina Temple of Edgefield Co., SC is based on timing, lack of alternatives, and name similarity, but requires proof. Also, they were first cousins (though by adoption in the case of Angelina), so they were positioned closely to each other. Finally, his first child was named Stevens, and James Pickens' father, though named Seaborn, was enumerated in 1900 as Stephens Temples. Stevens' death certificate named his father John, however, and his mother was Angeline. So, it may be that instead of James Pickens Temples, Angeline was the first wife of John Calvin Temples, James' younger brother. Parents: Seaborn (Sebe) TEMPLE(S)-34150 and Rebecca Ann (Rebecca) RODGERS-34379.

Sarah Alice spent more of her time in Ware Co., GA than he did, though.
