Part of the explanation for the difference is that he could only make his mark when he registered for the draft, so there is some confusion between his oral claims and the written record. Spouse: Lisa -159330.
William TEMPLES was born (date unknown).
William TEMPLES died before 1880. He may be mistakenly placed here and might have been a son of William Holden and Julia Temples of Early Co., GA, but there is no data to conclude that. In fact, his ties to Andrew and Judy Temples is based on a secondary source of unknown reliability that also says he was the husband of Elizabeth King.
Frederick and Mary Temples are also candidates for his identification, as they are credited in Temple People, Vol. II, with a son named William who married Elizabeth King. However, four years after that William's birth was a brother, William Holden Temples (who went by Holden), and that seems suspicious. Parents: Andrew TEMPLES-72476 and Judy -72477.

He has reference number RLT # U4128.1399 Where William fits is a puzzle, but he is placed here in Temple People Vol. II, possibly incorrectly. He is related to Michael Temples, who was living a few doors away in 1850.
Identification of the husband of Elizabeth King as this person is based on location and name similarity, and few (one) alternatives for another William Temple(s) who could have married Elizabeth King.
