Hebron Institute (school founded in 1850), on the south was a village inn of stagecoach days which later was made into a private home and was the last home of Roswell and Elizabeth. They celebrated their golden anniversary there in 1874 and Roswell died there in 1886. Roswell and Elizabeth has lived for 85 and 92 years respectively in the North Hebron and Granville, N.Y. areas.
