Frederick TEMPLE died on 14 May 1915 in Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.8415 Frederick TEMPLE died on 9 November 1920 in Mc Leod Co., MN.97015 Frederick TEMPLE died on 13 February 1960 in Hamilton Co., OH.97016 He is related to Marie Paula Tempel who died two days earlier in Hamilton Co., OH, but just how is unclear without their birth dates. Frederick TEMPLE was born about 1706.97017 Robert Temples' wife found a NEHGS record of him being indentured in 1723, meaning he was age 16-18. He may be linked to Prince George Co., VA, but this remains to be proved. He lived in Anson Co., NC in 1723.97017 Children were: Frederick TEMPLE-34134. Frederick TEMPLE89825 was born about 1735. He lived in Anson Co., NC about 1745.97017 Frederick appears about 1745 and again 1763. But his point of origin is elusive. He died about 1780 at the age of 45. Robert Temples, a major researcher on this line, believes that this was the Frederick killed at Buford's Defeat in May 1780. This is based on records that probably relate to his son and grandson, not him. However, it was his son James who fought at Buford's Defeat, which makes it tempting to suggest it was the younger Frederick, son of this Frederick, who was there. Robert Temples believes that it was Frederick b 1758 who stayed on the farm during the Revolution. Frederick served in the military in 1780. Possibly fought and died at Buford's Defeat. He lived in Prince George Co., VA.89825 Joyce Temple Barnett reported a common concern about the proliferation of Frederick Temples (plural) and the lack of clear records to differentiate them, particularly in Prince George County. This family is constructed from available records, but probably is missing several children. To avoid further confusion, we are relatively certain that Frederick Temple that was killed at Buford's Defeat was not the same as either of the Fredericks in this family. I suspect that this Frederick is, moreover, a close relation to Needham Temple, b. 1732. Alternatively, however, is research done by Robert Temples. He wrote "We suspect that he is descended from the Prince George County Group of Temple's. William 1662-1729 had four sons, Samuel, William, John, and Thomas. Samuel's line is fairly well documented with no Frederick born around 1725. Thomas has some unnamed son in 1726 which could be Frederick. Parish records were destroyed from that time period and we are still hoping a will, probate, or family records survived. William has a son Epps that Lucy well documents, but little else shows on children. John is said not to have married or had children. So, where did my Frederick born around 1725 come from?? If the naming patterns were followed then Frederick may have been named after his mother's side (Chamberlayne)." Parents: Frederick TEMPLE-41652. Children were: James A. TEMPLE(S)-34135, Frederick TEMPLES-34136, John TEMPLE(S)-34137, Captain Andrew TEMPLE-34088. Frederick TEMPLE was born in 1741 in MA.97018 He lived in Windsor Co., VT in 1819.97018 He served in the military. Placed on pension roll 6 May 1819 for service in the Massachusetts Line. He might be related to Roswell Temple, because of a tenuous piece of evidence. Roswell's daughter, Annie, died in Putney, VT in 1818. Roswell and his family apparently did not live in Putney, so she or they were visiting. It is possible that she/they were visiting because they had family there, and if so, possibly Frederick was one of them. That would possibly make Frederick a cousin or uncle of Roswell's. Frederick TEMPLE11205,49855 was born in 1756 in Shutesbury, Franklin, MA.11205,49855 Age derived from Pension Records. Rise of the Temples gives approximate date of 1750.
