It is possible - based on the two 1920 census enumerations - that one enumeration was for a John C. Temple, and the other for John Elroy Temple. John Elroy is certainly the father of Agnes Temple, who married a Cooper. Just as certainly, Myrtle M. (Sallada) Temple was the mother of Agnes (Temple) Cooper. However, census records indicate that Myrtle M. married John C. Temple. Also, Myrtle (Sallada) Temple was said to be a widow in her death certificate of 1943, even though John Elroy Temple died in 1959.
